Every claim carries a citation. Click it and you land on the page it came from.
The consent model
You decide what gets read. Before anything, not after.
Before any content inside a document is sent to a model, Sharedora asks. Three independent choices, all off by default.
Any of them can be changed later, in either direction. Withdrawing consent deletes the extracted passages and stops future processing.
Each document has its own consent state. Adding a new file never inherits a previous yes.

“Store without reading” is a real, supported outcome. A document can live in Sharedora as a file you can find and download, with nothing ever sent anywhere.
The model used is Google’s Gemini API. Named plainly, as the product does.
Minds and sub-Minds
The same question, asked in the right place, gives the right answer.
A Mind is a collection of material about one subject — a person, a house, a business, an illness, an estate. Minds nest: a Mind can hold sub-Minds.
Ask the volleyball sub-Mind what to wear on Saturday and it answers from volleyball material alone. Ask the prom sub-Mind and you get a different, equally correct answer.
The narrow answer is the default. Widening to everything inside a Mind is one deliberate tick.
Asking volleyball reaches volleyball. Asking My Teenager can optionally reach all three sub-Minds — and only the ones you have access to.

Does not train on your documents
Nothing you add is used to train any model, by Sharedora or by the API vendor.
Does not answer from general knowledge
If there is no source in your Minds, there is no answer. Every claim is grounded.
Does not process without consent
Nothing inside a document is sent anywhere until you have said yes — for that document, for that operation.
Does not hold your files hostage
Download your originals at any time, including after you stop paying.
Sharing
Invite people. They read and download everything, free.
A seat is per person, not per Mind. Anyone you invite to a Mind reads every document in it and downloads any file they want, at no cost to them.
A paid seat is needed only to add documents or ask questions. Reading and downloading are always free for anyone you choose to include.
Invited people read and download everything in the Mind they were invited to. They sign in with their own account; no subscription needed.
